I've heard that it doesn't deal as well with boost but weather or not thats true im not sure (I'm not going to act like I know when I really don't) All I know is that to do most tunes (besides K series) you have to go back to OBDI through a conversion harness because OBDII ECU's have way too much emissions BS in them. But other than that...I'm not too sure.

Nah I pulled the motor from my old 93 si hatch and put in the D15 from this del sol back into that hatch and sold it. So it's an OBDI motor, thus making the answer to your questions that its a D16Z6. The y8 is the OBDII version of this motor

It should have roughly 127 hp at the crank, you might have a little more (or a little less) because of the mods you have on it.

Sorry to disappoint you but that's a D16y8 engine...and probably has nothing close to 190hp either.
